Huang Xianqun said that in terms of curriculum arrangement, Fushou Village Primary School tries its best to synchronize with the town central school, so that the children will not fall behind the children in the same class after attending the town central school in third grade. The picture shows Huang Xianqun teaching children. |

In addition to teaching the children to learn their homework well, Huang Xianqun also takes on the responsibility of taking care of the children. The picture shows her picking up her children who were on the same road and going to school together. |

Although the "micro-school" is small, the school building covers an area of 500 to 600 square meters, and there are many plastic playgrounds, multimedia teaching rooms, music rooms, libraries, kitchens, etc. "As long as there is still one child studying, we will keep Fushou Village small. " Wei Yi, principal of Qingyuan Town Central School, said. The picture shows the only five students of Fushou Village Primary School currently holding a flag-raising ceremony. |

Fushou Village Primary School, Qingyuan Town, Nanchuan District, Chongqing City is a "micro-school" located at the eastern foot of Jinfo Mountain, a world natural heritage site at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters, more than 10 kilometers away from the Qingyuan Town Central School. Huang Xianqun is the only teacher in this "micro-primary school".
The original Fushou Village Primary School was a village-level primary school with nearly a hundred students. As more and more children followed their working parents to study in the city, the maximum number of Fushou Village Primary School after 2005 was only seven or eight students. However, if Fushou Village Primary School was abolished, children in the village who needed to go to school would have to walk two or three hours a day to the town center school. When the school starts this spring, there will only be 5 students left in Fushou Village Primary School, making it a veritable "micro-school".
More and more young parents in the village bring their children to the city when they go out to work. The families of the children left behind are relatively poor, and "micro-schools" have become "left-behind places" for these children.
Huang Xianqun said that looking at these children whose parents are no longer around, he takes care of them as if they were his own children. "As long as there is still one child who comes to study here, I am willing to stick here. " Huang Xianqun said.
