Partika, who was born without a right forearm, attracted the attention of many fans during the game that day. She played for the Czech Table Tennis League club for four seasons and became well-known locally. In the unfavorable situation where the first two games ended at 9:11, the Polish combination achieved a strong comeback and won three consecutive games, allowing their opponents only 2 points in the last game.
Partika said after the game that the first round of the main match did not start well, but the third game became the turning point. "We had some trouble at the beginning and couldn't find a way to score. Then we played some good shots and won the third game, and the momentum changed from there. We played better and better, worked hard, and finally won. The opponent was very strong, and it was not easy to win the game."
Partika also participated in the women's singles competition of this Open, but was eliminated in the qualifying round on the 21st and missed the main draw. Talking about his plans for the rest of this year, Partika made it clear that he will work hard to get tickets for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
"The Tokyo Olympics are coming soon. All athletes are eager to participate. My teammates and I are too. We are eager to qualify for the Olympics. We must improve our skills, score more points, and improve our world rankings. I hope our Polish women's team can enter the Olympics." Partica said, "I also hope that I can get Olympic tickets for singles. These are the most important things at the moment. All we need to do now is to train and do our best to be ourselves."
Partica said: "When Of course, it is very difficult to qualify for the Olympics. I will focus on this and try to participate in both competitions. I don’t have any special method, just keep training every day. I think it is possible to participate in both Olympics. I have done it before, why not next year?”
