NetEase Auto reported on August 23 According to BYD official news, the fuel version of the new Qin will debut in Chengdu in September. The new car continues the Dragon Face design of the new Qin EV version, but it is different in details, and the design treatment is more sporty; the new Qin fuel version will be equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine.

[New car information points]
1. Based on BNA architecture:
The new Qin fuel version is built on the Quanqing full-power platform under the BNA architecture, and shares the seven major aspects of chassis architecture, core technology, power technology, intelligent openness, design, supply chain and quality control with EV models.
2. The front face of the new fuel version and the body of the car highlight the sporty atmosphere:
The front face of the new Qin fuel version continues the Dragon Face design of the new Qin EV version: the swooping front, matrix LED headlights and daytime running lights are basically the same as the EV version. The biggest difference between the two is that the shape of the grille has changed from a delicate lattice style to a multi-spoke horizontal style. It is combined with the headlights and decorative parts on both sides of the front bumper to enhance the horizontal extension of the front face.
The sides and rear of the new Qin fuel version show a youthful and sporty atmosphere. The waistline extends from the A-pillar to the rear of the car, and the exquisite wheel eyebrows are combined with dark aluminum alloy wheels.
The rear of the car is unified with the style of the entire vehicle. The slender chrome trim strips running through the rear are interspersed with the three-dimensional taillights. The combination of the double waistline and the chrome trim strips at the rear is more three-dimensional.
3. The interior adopts a simple technology route:
The interior of the new Qin EV still follows a simple technology route. The new car's central control comes standard with BYD's DiLink system's adaptive rotating suspended large screen, which eliminates a large number of traditional physical buttons and is full of technology. The combination of the large screen and the large-size LCD instrument panel creates a more interactive cockpit with a futuristic feel. Metal decorative elements are added around the multi-function steering wheel to highlight the sense of class.
In terms of materials and workmanship of the interior, the instrument panel adopts slush molding technology, and is matched with exquisite double stitching on the seats, armrest boxes and other parts; the thin and slender dashboard panel is decorated with piano paint, and is combined with soft covering technology in door panels and other body-touchable areas, bringing consumers a high-quality riding experience from sight to touch.
The DiLink intelligent network connection system equipped with the new Qin EV has been upgraded to version 2.0. The open system is compatible with 3 million+ mainstream APP applications and is extremely playable. At the same time, the system is supplemented by functions such as intelligent voice, remote control driving, and OTA remote upgrade.
4. Equipped with 1.5L power:
The new Qin fuel version model will be equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine. Refer to the parameters of the 1.5L engine (codename BYD473QE) of the Qin Pro fuel version currently on sale: maximum power 80kW, maximum torque 145N·m, matched with a 5MT gearbox.
